Salaar is an upcoming Pan-Indian film which is written and directed by 'KGF' fame Prashanth Neel. The movie features prabhas and shruti haasan in the lead roles and it is funded by vijay kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. The movie will be shot in kannada and telugu and will also release in hindi, tamil, and malayalam languages.


The movie has music composed by ravi Basrur and the cinematography is handled by bhuvan Gowda. kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy is set to play a pivotal role in this movie. There are reports that shruti haasan will be seen as a journalist in this movie. But the actress in her recent interview with a tamil Weekly Magazine has revealed that her role is something out of the box and the makers are tight-lipped and even she never knows it. She also spoke about her past life.


The actress said everything is a part and parcel of her learning curve and the 35-year-old actress said she is currently happy with the doodle artist Santanu Hazarika. She never reacted to marriage questions. She said she will marry when the time is right and she will definitely let everyone know before tying the knot. The actress is also focusing on her musical career right now.
