The three-day walkout by movie industry workers has halted production on over 25 projects. Talasani srinivas Yadav, the cinematography minister for Telangana, has intervened in the negotiations between the film industry and the Film Chamber. Producers Council representatives separately met with Talasani to discuss how to reach a cooperative resolution to the problem.

Producer C. kalyan spoke on behalf of the Film Chamber when he said that while producers are willing to meet the demands of the film industry, they should first get back to work. "Producers Council will honour its commitments. film industry workers should resume their jobs before discussing their demands. Payments will also be made using the previous approach for the following 15 days, according to Kalyan.

Concerns exist on both sides, minister Talasani stated. Due to the epidemic and the difficulty producers were having, movie workers did not receive a pay raise. However, the demands made by each side are obstinate. Issues can only be resolved by consensus, therefore Talasani advised "cine workers and producers to have extensive meetings to find a solution." Cine workers are unlikely to end their walkout after producer kalyan clarified compensation for the following two weeks.
