The congress party, which defeated the BRS in North and South telangana, came up short in the GHMC. congress failed to create its account in the GHMC's 23 seats. BRS received fifteen, mim received seven, and bjp received one. Since then, research has focused on the zero influence of Kamma, tdp, and Settler votes on these seats in the aftermath of Chandrababu's imprisonment and the subsequent crises. To begin with, the Kamma, tdp, and Settler votes are not limited to the ghmc region. They have a presence in the districts of Khammam, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Mahabubnagar, where the congress fared quite well.

Tummala Nageswara Rao, who lost in the 2018 elections, won this time with a majority of 50,000 votes. Tummala made great use of tdp here. In terms of the matter at hand, congress was unable to influence the ghmc sector. tdp voters are not as numerous as they were before 2014. They are a sizable population with the potential to tip the scales. However, congress has just a little representation in the city. There is no strong leader for the party here, and neither are the candidates.

As a result, we didn't see much of revanth reddy in the ghmc region. He solely focused on rural telangana because he knew that the congress had actual strength there. If congress had done a decent job in the ghmc area, it would have won several seats with the help of the TDP. Also, because of the infrastructural development, there is a pro-BRS vote in this area. There's one more issue here. There is also a schism among tdp voters. Even though tdp followers are upset with BRS, they have a soft spot for those tdp leaders who were forced to join BRS.

Candidates include Arekapudi gandhi of Serlingampally, maganti gopinath of Jubilee Hills, Vivekanand Goud of Qutubullapur, Prakash Goud of Rajendranagar, madhavaram krishna rao of Kukatpally, and mallareddy of Medchal. tdp voters are split here because of their sympathies for past tdp and current BRS candidates. There are also janasena followers and Kapu community members who back the BJP.

Finally, the tdp, Kamma, and Settlers (neutral) votebank that emerged as a result of the Chandrababu dispute aided congress in areas where the party has a strong presence. They could not, however, push the party to the point where it has no appropriate leadership or presence.
