PM Modi in COP28: prime minister narendra modi has reached india from dubai in the United Arab Emirates

(UAE) after participating in the COP28 i.e. World Climate Action Summit. Earlier, he met Israeli President Isaac

Herzog on friday (01 december 2023) and shared his views regarding the ongoing war between israel and

Hamas. PM Modi expressed his condolences on the loss of life and property in israel due to the Hamas attack on

october 7 and welcomed the recent release of hostages. He also assured India's support to find a durable solution

to the Israel-Palestine issue through dialogue and diplomacy. This information was given by Foreign Ministry

spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter),

“PM narendra modi met Israeli President Isaac Herzog on the sidelines of COP28 WCAS in Dubai. The two

leaders exchanged views on the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict in the region. PM Modi expressed condolences on

the loss of lives and property in the terrorist attacks of october 07 and welcomed the release of the hostages.

                       

He further said that PM Modi reiterated India's support for the two-state solution. Bagchi wrote, “PM reiterated

the need for continuous and safe delivery of humanitarian assistance to the affected population. He stressed

India’s support to the two countries to find a quick and durable solution through dialogue and diplomacy.”
