Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, while paying tribute to baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his

death anniversary on Wednesday, said that the people who are trying to weaken the country by dividing the society

through anti-India activities are actually insulting Ambedkar and Everyone will have to go to every village and tell

about this.                              

While paying tribute to Dr. Ambedkar in the program organized on his 67th death anniversary, the Chief Minister

said without taking anyone’s name, baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had said one thing that we are indians first.

Today, when some people curse India, insult Indianness, work to widen the gap in the society in the name of caste,

then in a way they are insulting baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.

He said, “Every work of baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was in the name of the country. Those who today divide

the society through anti-India activities and are trying to weaken India, insult baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. We

all will have to go to every village and tell about this. Accusing the previous governments of bias, the Chief

Minister said, Earlier governments used to take action looking at the face. She used to give benefits of schemes

just by looking at his face. Some used to be pro-Dalit and some used to be anti-Dalit. Those who were against

were certainly against it, but even those who worked to become supporters were not able to work in favor of the

Dalits. He earned his living in the name of Dalits but was not able to prepare any effective program for the poor

and the deprived.
