Before the start of each school day's morning assembly, beginning on june 20, pupils in all government and local body schools will get a hot and nourishing 250 ml Ragi Java breakfast. The provision of Ragi Java to students would be inaugurated on 20 june to commemorate "Telangana vidya Dinotsavam" as part of telangana State centenary festivities, according to education minister P Sabitha indra Reddy on Thursday. 25,26,907 children in 28,606 government and local body schools will benefit from this project.

Ministers and MLAs will be officially inaugurating schools that had been renovated as part of the Mana Ooru - Mana Badi/Mana Basti - Mana Badi plan, according to the minister who called a meeting with education department officials here.

12,39,415 children in Class VI through X would receive notebooks for each topic, while 16,27,457 pupils in Classes I through v would receive workbooks. This year, the government spent 190 million rupees to give 30 lakh pupils free textbooks. Additionally, the government was spending Rs. 150 crores to give two sets of uniforms to 26 lakh kids.
