On Friday, Naspur mandal center's chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will officially lay the cornerstone for the Chennur Lift Irrigation Scheme (CLIS), the mancherial Government Medical College, the Integrated district Officers Complex (IDOC), and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) offices.

On the same day, the chief minister will also introduce the Gruhalaxmi programme, the second iteration of the sheep distribution programme, and a programme offering Rs. 1 lakh in financial help to artists and craftsmen from various underprivileged areas. He will also speak at a public gathering at 7:30 p.m.


On a vast 26.24 acre plot of land, the IDOC at Naspur Mandal Centre was constructed for a cost of Rs. 55.20 crore. The complex's two-story main structure took over 1.39 million square yards to construct. The state chamber and a staff room are located on the first level, while the chamber for the Collector, Additional Collectors, waiting area, and meeting rooms are on the ground floor.

Each level features a conference room that can accommodate 40 people, as well as type-A and type-B halls, a pantry room, a strong room, a child care facility, two VIP restrooms, four lifts, and a helipad. There have been extensive preparations made for the programmes, including the deployment of 2,500 police officers.
