On Thursday, it was claimed that online criminals posted indecent films to the Asifnagar police station's official facebook page. When they discovered an improper video on the police station page run by the neighborhood IT team, some local residents who follow facebook for police updates were outraged. The suspected hacker, who is purportedly from abroad, added a video to the Asifnagar police station's official website. 

The police began making attempts to remove the information after being made aware of the situation. A case has been filed. The administration of the police department's official social media accounts shocked the public. On monday night near Asifnagar, a few vehicles, including a police patrol car, were allegedly destroyed by a bunch of drug users. According to the police, a group of people caused a disturbance at about midnight in the Jhirra neighborhood inside the boundaries of the Asifnagar police station and smashed a few private automobiles' windscreens.
