Allahabad high court can give its verdict today on the application of bahubali Mukhtar
Ansari. After the completion of the arguments, the high court had reserved the decision on
20 September. On april 29, the mp MLA Special court of Ghazipur had convicted Mukhtar
Ansari in the gangster case and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment. Mukhtar Ansari
challenged the decision of mp MLA Special court in the High Court.
Will Mukhtar Ansari get bail?
Defense lawyer Upendra Upadhyay had filed a certificate and told the high court that
Mukhtar Ansari has been in jail for 12 years and 4 months since the remand of the gangster
case was made. Therefore the client is entitled to bail. The lawyer's argument was that
Mukhtar Ansari had already spent more days in jail during the trial than the sentence awarded
to him. On behalf of the government, Additional Advocate General manish Goyal had
opposed the bail application. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the High Court
had sought a report from the Banda Jail Superintendent. Let us tell you that Purvanchal’s
mafia don Mukhtar Ansari is lodged in Banda jail.

A single bench of Justice Rajbir Singh will give its verdict on Mukhtar Ansari’s petition. It is
believed that by afternoon the picture of Mukhtar Ansari getting bail will be clear. Mukhtar
Ansari’s brother afzal ansari has already got bail in the same case. mp MLA Special Court
of Ghazipur had sentenced afzal ansari to 4 years imprisonment. After the decision of the
special court, afzal ansari was disqualified from Parliament. In 1996, the MP-MLA court of
Ghazipur had convicted Mukhtar Ansari in five cases registered under the gangster Act and
sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment. Along with this, the court had also imposed a fine
