On Thursday, telangana received recognition as one of the nation's top-performing states among all significant states. According to a statement issued by PMSVANidhi, the minister for Housing and Urban Affairs hardeep singh puri praised Telangana's commitment and devotion to the effective implementation of Pattana Pragathi, popularly known as Street Vendors (SVs) Development, during an event.

Additionally, under the PM SVANidhi, telangana became the first state to waive stamp duty on loans. The top 10 cities in the category of Urban local Bodies (ULB) in the country with fewer than one lakh inhabitants were all from telangana, with siddipet taking the top spot. siddipet, Sircilla, Nirmal, kamareddy, Bodhan, Zaheerabad, Sangareddy, Manchiryal, Palwancha, and Armoor were among the cities mentioned.

The top urban local governments in terms of the greatest number of disbursals were the Greater warangal Municipal Corporation (population over 1 lakh and below 10 lakhs) and kamareddy Municipality (population below 1 lakh). In the group of eight megacities (population larger than 40 lakh), the larger hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) took second place. On june 1st of last year, the PMSVANidhi scheme was introduced to provide working capital loans to the vendors who were impacted by the COVID-19 lockout.
