Nithya Menen's most recent film was Skylab, a telugu periodical comedy-drama that was released in cinemas on december 3. Skylab aired on SonyLIV on january 14 after just 4 weeks of theatrical run and with huge anticipation. She also served as a producer in addition to performing the principal role. Nithya told out about being a co-producer and her cinema career for an exclusive conversation with a leading portal.

She remarked of her role as a co-producer, " "I wasn't engaged in the creative side of things when I was shooting; I was just on set as usual. When we were shooting, we were completely immersed in Skylab. I was only being Gauri and having fun with it. But, I suppose after the process was completed up, it needed me to get engaged in other elements. I was a co-producer on the picture, and we had a fantastic producer, Prithivi, who took care of the most of the job on our behalf. 

As a result, I didn't have to delve too deeply into it or do too much work. It was fascinating even though there was a greater sense of empowerment in the picture, and I was eager to see it completed. As a result, there's a great sensation of accomplishment. But, of course, dealing with the minutiae might be difficult, especially if you aren't planning on becoming a filmmaker." When asked about releasing the movie sooner in OTT, she gave a bold answer that money matters, of course!
