Which major congressional leaders exacted revenge?

Over the past ten years, a number of prominent figures have departed from Congress. Among the former congress Chief Ministers are well-known figures like Amarinder Singh, Digambar Kamat, SM Krishna, Vijay Bahuguna, N Kiran reddy, ND Tiwari, Jagdambika Pal, and Pema Khandu.

⦁ In May 2016, Vijay Bahuguna, the former chief minister of uttarakhand, joined the BJP.

⦁ In 2017, SM Krishna, the karnataka chief minister from 1999 to 2004, joined the bjp after quitting the Congress.

⦁ In 2023, kiran kumar reddy, the former chief minister of andhra pradesh, resigned from the Congress. The final chief minister of an undivided andhra pradesh was kiran kumar Reddy. Afterwards, Kiran reddy joined the BJP.

⦁ Veteran congress leader and former uttarakhand chief minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari also joined the bjp in 2017. On october 18, 2018, he passed away in New Delhi.

⦁ Former congress leader Pema Khandu is the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Together with thirty-two MLAs from the People's party of Arunachal Pradesh (PPA), he joined the bjp in december 2016.

⦁ Narayan Rane, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, is another name on the list of prominent Congressmen quitting the party. In september 2017, he departed from Congress. Rane became a member of the bjp in 2019.

⦁ Veteran congress chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who was influential in punjabi politics, founded the punjab Lok congress in 2021 and ran for all 117 seats in the parliament. Following this, in 2022, he founded the PLC party, which he later combined with the BJP.

ashok chavan has become one of the numerous former congress Chief Ministers who have joined the BJP. The bjp welcomed Chavan on february 13, 2024. However, the bharatiya janata party also announced its candidate for the forthcoming rajya sabha elections, which will take place in Maharashtra, on february 14.
