Family members of accused Anuj Thapan refused…?
The family members of Anujkumar Thapan, the accused arrested in the case of firing at salman Khan's house, have refused to accept his body. The family members have demanded a cbi investigation and said that there should be a change otherwise they will not take the body. police had arrested four accused in the firing case at salman Khan's house. According to the police, one of them, Anuj Kumar Thapan, committed suicide in jail. After suicide, his body was brought to JJ Hospital where postmortem was conducted yesterday on 2 May. Today Anuj's family reached mumbai where they saw Anuj's dead body and were shocked.
Anuj's family accused him of murder
Anuj's maternal grandfather Jaswant Singh alleged that this was murder and not suicide. He said that he saw the dead body and the mark on its neck was not of hanging but of strangulation.
Whereas Thapan's maternal uncle kuldeep Bishnoi says that Anuj used to run the house and he is from a very poor family. He said that Anuj's widowed mother, younger brother and younger sister live with him. Who will run his family after his departure? We no longer trust maharashtra police and the investigation of this matter should be handed over to cbi, only then we will get justice. He further said that mumbai police wants to get rid of us. For this reason, she wants us to take Anuj's body and leave from here as soon as possible. We do not have money and that is why when we were in Punjab, mumbai police said that they are sending us tickets. He told that the police told us to come here quickly and take the dead body from here to our village. Promised to give money for that also. The police issued our flight tickets but we do not trust the police, the investigation should be done by the CBI.
