Milkha Singh, India's greatest sprinter, died of Corona at the age of 91. prime minister Narendra Modi sent out a tweet expressing his condolences. His condition had worsened significantly the day before, according to sources. He developed a fever again, and his oxygen level had fallen substantially, according to sources. Milkha Singh, 91, was taken to the hospital after contracting Corona, and he died shortly after. nirmal Saini, his wife, died six days ago due to the deadly coronavirus.

His finest finish, however, came in the 1960 Rome olympics, where he placed fourth in the 400-metre final. He also competed for india in the olympics in 1956 and 1964. In 1959, he received the padma shri award.
