Actress Nayanthara's father Kurian Kodiyattu has been admitted to the hospital as his health condition has got deteriorated suddenly. Mr.Kurian Kodiyattu is a retired  Indian Air Force Officer and his wife Omana Kurian is a homemaker. Actress Nayantara's father belongs to a malayalam Christian Family and due to the cinema industry nayantara changed her Christian name into her stage name and she also started to embrace hinduism later on. 


Currently, Kurian Kodiyattu resides in a lavish apartment along with his wife in Cochin and recently Nayanthara along with her boyfriend vignesh shivan came to Cochin to meet her parents. She paid a personal visit to see her father who recently suffers often due to health issues and for the past few days Kurian had breathlessness problems and as his condition got unstable he was taken to a private hospital in Cochin. 



As per reports, Kurian is now in the Intensive Care Unit and a special team of doctors is monitoring his health condition and are trying to revive his stability. Nayanthara who is in shooting at hyderabad has flown immediately to Cochin to be with her mother during these tough times.
