If reports are to be believed, then the eagerly awaited Telangana Bill will most likely not come up in Parliament winter session. Sources say that as part of pre-session briefings, the UPA government has reportedly not listed the crucial Telangana Bill as part of the agenda. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and BJP senior leader Sushma Swaraj reportedly sought information Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath regarding the reason T-bill was not listed in the agenda. Sources say that Kamal Nath was of the opinion that the government was doing all it can to place the bill in the forthcoming session. Well it looks as if the Congress top leadership is wary of what might happen in the AP Assembly before the draft bill goes back to President. As a result, it is keeping all its cards close to its chest! However, they always have the facility to come up with a special parliamentary session exclusively for the Telangana bill so Congress still has its way clear.
