According to the information, FIIs are selling heavily this month. In May 2024, till Thursday, FIIs have sold Rs 15863 crore from the cash segment. Whereas in the Future and Options (F&O) segment, FIIs have withdrawn Rs 5,292 crore.

The weak results of companies for the financial year for 3 months have damaged the market sentiment. sbi and Canara bank have come out with excellent results but Asian Paints' earnings have not been good.

Foreign investors selling
