Meanwhile congress has now started trying to corner the Mohan Yadav government regarding the incident of blast and arson in the firecracker factory in Harda. congress state president and former minister Jitu Patwari alleges that in the last 9 years, more than 163 people have died due to explosions in illegal factories at different places in Madhya Pradesh, but the illegal factories are still operating. State President Jitu Patwari, while giving the figures of people killed in the explosion that took place in Petlawad, Jhabua on september 12, 2015, said that 79 innocent people had lost their lives here. After this, in the year 2015, three people died in a fire in an illegal factory in Balaghat.

Similarly, on april 15, 2017, six people died in an explosion in Datia. Patwari also made allegations stating that 7 people died in the blast in indore on 19 april 2017, 13 people died in Chhindwara on 17 april 2017, and 25 people died in the blast in Balaghat factory on 7 june 2017. Apart from this, figures have been presented that five people died due to fire caused by illegal firecrackers in gwalior on 25 october 2019. Apart from this, figures of death of nine people have been reported in different incidents in Morena on 4 november 2020, Shivpuri on 13 april 2022 and Morena on 20 october 2022. Similarly, on october 31, 2023, Patwari has informed about the death of five people due to fire in an illegal firecracker factory in Damoh. While presenting the figures, Patwari said that the government should take concrete steps in this direction so that the lives of innocent people can be saved.
