JDU eyes the traditional seat of the Grand Alliance

After Kashmir, this is the lok sabha seat with the highest Muslim population and has been a traditional seat of the Grand Alliance. BJP's Syed Shahnawaz Hussain had reached parliament only once after winning the election from here, while JDU has faced defeat only once. cm Nitish Kumar has a special eye on the Kishanganj lok sabha seat and this time the party has entered the election field with full strength.

If we talk about the caste equation, the candidates of all three parties come from the local Surjapuri community. Experts say that if JDU candidates are successful in bringing the traditional voters of bjp to their fold, then the seat can go to NDA's account. After filing the nomination, JDU leader Mujahid Alam said that he will always stand by the people in their happiness and sorrow and will work to implement the development plans.
