Congress candidate vikramaditya Singh filed his nomination from Mandi parliamentary constituency. During this, along with vikramaditya Singh, Himachal congress in-charge Rajiv Shukla, chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, current mp of Mandi and vikramaditya Singh's mother Pratibha Singh were also present. Before the nomination of vikramaditya Singh, a large number of congress workers also gathered at Seri Manch in Mandi. After filing the nomination of vikramaditya Singh, a big rally has also been organized at Seri Manch in Mandi.
Vikramaditya Singh is competing with kangana Ranaut
Here along with vikramaditya Singh, other congress leaders will also address the public. vikramaditya Singh is contesting against BJP's kangana Ranaut. kangana ranaut will file her nomination on May 14.
Pratibha Singh is mp from Mandi seat
Vikramaditya Singh is also the Public Works minister in the government led by chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. The party has made him its candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency. Before vikramaditya Singh, his father Virbhadra Singh and mother Pratibha Singh had also been MPs from this seat.
In the by-election held in the year 2021 also, Pratibha Singh had won from Mandi parliamentary constituency. The year 2014 and year 2019 Lok Sabha elections were won by Pandit ram Swaroop Sharma of bjp in Mandi parliamentary constituency. Pandit ram Zaroor Sharma had defeated Pratibha Singh in the year 2014 and Ashray Sharma in the year 2019.
