Parshurama Jayanti is observed on May 10 this year. Drik Panchang states that the Tritiya Tithi will start on May 10 at 4:17 AM and end on May 11 at 2:50 AM.

Rituals: Devotees take a holy bath and get up early on Parshurama Jayanti. After that, they keep a fast and pray to Lord Vishnu. They present sweets, flowers, sandalwood, vermilion, and basil leaves to Lord Vishnu's statue. For the day, people eat fruits, milk, and other Satvik foods instead of grains or pulses.

Significance: Lord Parshurama is regarded as one of humanity's seven Chiranjeevis. He was thought to have assaulted Lord Ganesha once. He was a Brahmin possessing the attributes of a Kshatriya. It is thought that he has been granted immortality. The kalki Puran states that Lord Parshurama is thought to reappear in the Kaliyug and instruct Lord kalki in Shashtra Vidya. The eleventh manifestation of Lord vishnu is Lord Kalki. There are several temples devoted to Lord Parshurama in South India, including the Udupi area of Karnataka, despite the fact that he is not as revered as Lord krishna and Lord Rama.
