The much-anticipated Tribeca Film festival international premiere of Adipurush, starring Prabhas, has been postponed. The film's presentation at the festival will now overlap with its USA premieres, which were formerly planned for june 13 in New York City. Without no official explanation from the directors, the international premiere was postponed, sparking questions about how the audience would react to the movie. According to critics, the producers might be concerned about how bad reviews will damage the movie's box office success.

But the decision-makers made a sensible choice. Prior to Shaakuntalam's release a few weeks ago, paid premieres were held 3–4 days beforehand. These film premieres generated terrible discussion. people did not make reservations for the premiere after hearing about it, which had a significant negative impact on the first-day collections.

How a cunning producer and distributor like dil raju could consent to early premieres even after watching Shaakuntalam was a mystery. How could he have failed to realise that early screenings would ruin what little chance the movie had of being a financial success? Now, Adipurush will have a standard US premiere, just like all other movies. They do not want to take the chance of holding a premiere three days before their film's release, even if they have a fantastic movie on their hands.
