When we used to open the newspaper before going to school, there were four pictures of Garfield and a storyline written in it. Then there was a wait for the next day to see what would be written today. So I have very fond memories of Garfield. I had no idea that I would get a chance to become its voice when I grew up. So I am very thankful to sony Pictures for allowing me to become the voice of Garfield in hindi in India
He said that they are very pet-friendly. varun said that every holiday of mine was at my maternal grandparents' house, there were many pets at their house. However, when I was young, a dog bit me. I had many injections then. It was my fault that I should not have teased them. He said that the work was a bit challenging, but a lot of fun. He said that Garfield and I have one thing in common we both are very talkative. Apart from this, he speaks without thinking. Many times it happens to me that I don't think too much, I just say whatever is in my mind.
Varun said that after doing 'The Garfield', his attitude towards cats has changed a lot. He said that I have always been very dog-friendly. I have many friends in mumbai who have cats at home. Because I have been living in Punjab, there are not so many cats at home. It is more common in Mumbai. If you go to Richa Chadha and ali Fazal's house, they have cats at their place. There are many such friends. He said that earlier he was afraid of cats in case they would bite him with their claws. He said that for the first time, I was dubbing for another character. So this was quite challenging. He said that he got to learn many new things from this.
Varun Sharma said that animation dubbing is not easy, people think that they have a lot of fun, but it is very difficult. There are some words that are difficult because there are no dialogues, you have to sit. When translated from english to hindi, his four words become our eight. Or their 10 words end up in our five. So balance has to be done accordingly. Because the storyline has been written according to them. varun said that I have liked Garfield and tom and Jerry very much from the beginning.
