Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar described prime minister Narendra Modi as the development man of the country during a rally in Baramati in pune district. Campaigning for the third phase of lok sabha elections has ended at 6 pm. Baramati is also among the seats in the state where Pawar's wife Sunetra Pawar is contesting as the ruling alliance's candidate against sitting mp and Sharad Pawar's daughter supriya Sule.

Ajit Pawar said, "Prime minister Modi is the development man of this country. This lok sabha election is very important. Baramati has not received funds from the Center for the last 15 years. Sule has been an mp for the last three terms."

Pawar further said that "development projects worth Rs 2,499 crore have been approved." He also mocked ncp (SP) mla Rohit Pawar for wiping tears after getting emotional during his speech in support of Sule here.
