Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by sanjay leela bhansali and starring alia bhatt, was expected to be released on january 6, 2022. RRR, directed by SS rajamouli and featuring jr ntr and ram Charan, will be released on january 7. Surprisingly, Gangubai Kathiawadi's launch date has been moved back to february 18, 2022 by the movie's producers. SS rajamouli turned to twitter to express his gratitude for the Gangubai Kathiawadi producers' choice.



According to rajamouli, "Mr. @JayantilalGada and Mr. #SanjayLeelaBhansali's choice to push back the worldwide release is very welcomed. Our warmest greetings to #GangubaiKathiawadi." For the uninitiated, alia bhatt plays a little yet pivotal role in RRR. The producers opted to shift the launch date back a month to prevent a box office conflict and hampering each other's businesses.


Sarkaru Vaari Paata (SVP), directed by Mahesh Babu, will not be released on Sankranthi as anticipated. To avoid conflict with RRR, the movie's producers have stated that it will be released on april 1st. Keerthy suresh plays the female protagonist in the flick, which is helmed by parasuram Petla of geetha govindam notoriety. Pawan Kalyan, on the other hand, has never pulled out of the battle, and he has guaranteed that Bheemla nayak would be released on january 12th, as planned.
