In front of the theaters in Kovilpatti, fans burst firecrackers and performed Balabishekam to the sound of drums. Directed by lokesh kanagaraj and starring actor Vijay, the movie Leo released in tamil Nadu today at 9 am. While the film was released in 7 screens in 3 theaters namely Sathyabhama, Sanmukha and Letsumi in Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi district, the fans burst firecrackers and played mela talam in front of the theatres. Apart from that, they garlanded Vijay's film and showed colorful mathaps to the film. Apart from that, dj and wheeling fans also performed Balabhishekam for Vijay's film. In the celebration of Vijay fans, all the theaters in Kovilpatti turned into a festival.
Apart from that, Selvin Sundar from Kovilpatti bought the first ticket of the movie for Rs. 1 Lakh and 10 thousand which is going viral on social media. Selvin Sunder said that he paid such a high price to buy the ticket in order to provide financial support to the free Pilagam run by actor Vijay's People's Movement. Apart from that, dj and wheeling fans also performed Balabhishekam for Vijay's film. In the celebration of Vijay fans, all the theaters in Kovilpatti turned into a festival.
