The kannada cinema industry was pushed to new heights by KGF. Kantara increased its width even further and continues to astonish audiences with its box office success. The commercial paradigm for kannada cinema has been so drastically altered by these two movies that the producers and filmmakers are now looking for larger-budget pan-Indian productions. Kabzaa, starring Kicha Sudeepa and Upendra, is one of these movies. The teaser of this movie came out weeks previously, but the release date has not been chosen yet. Kabzaa was produced with a significant budget and has notable personalities like Upendra, Shriya, and Manoj Bajpai. But Kabzaa is having a lot of trouble with just one issue. It is KGF.

Almost every picture and frame in the Kabzaa teaser makes us think of KGF. The cinematography, background music, altitudes, grandeur, setup, and even the historical period of Kabzaa's plot are compared to KGF's because it is a period piece from 1942. Given that both films have the same soundtrack director, Kabzaa and kgf seem to be very similar. These comparisons make it difficult for Kabzaa to be offered to customers at a competitive price. The buyers are said to be undecided about the movie because the damages would be enormous if it flops.

Kabzaa's producers are in a bind because they have already invested a lot of money in the film. To recoup the budget, Kabzaa's business must be just as successful in other languages. Because of this, the producers are unsure whether to set the release date of december 25 or not. The OTT and dubbing deals for Kabzaa are still open. Therefore, releasing it now, especially when the kgf impact is strong and still fresh in people's thoughts, is a major risk for Kabzaa.
