In himachal pradesh, bjp mla Hansraj has filed a complaint against assembly Speaker kuldeep Singh Pathania. He has complained to the election commission alleging violation of the code of conduct. While holding a constitutional post, he has been accused of violating the Model Code of Conduct by campaigning in favor of congress candidate vikramaditya Singh from Mandi lok sabha seat.
A letter has been written to the election commission on behalf of himachal pradesh bjp in this regard. In which the ruling government of the state has been accused of not following the model code of conduct.
Complaint against Himachal assembly Speaker
The letter written to the election on behalf of himachal pradesh bjp said, "It is most respectfully submitted that time and again the ruling government and its agencies are violating the Model Code of Conduct and in this regard the Himachal State Complaints have been lodged with different election officials. In the ongoing general elections 2024 in the first week of May 2024, it was seen that himachal pradesh assembly Speaker kuldeep Singh Pathania is addressing the meetings.

The letter written to the election commission further states, "Assembly Speaker kuldeep Singh Pathania is attending public meetings at various places in Himachal Pradesh. Recently, he was found sharing the political stage and platform of the congress party with vikramaditya Singh, the congress party candidate from Mandi, along with cm Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and other congress leaders in Bharmour district.
