In a big relief, the court granted bail to Mufti salman Azhari in the hate speech case on wednesday (February 7). Junagadh district court granted bail to the Islamic preacher along with two other people in this case. A case was registered against him regarding hate speech. According to news agency PTI, Chief Judicial Magistrate SA Pathan granted bail to Mufti Azhari and two others. Two more who have been granted bail are local residents. A religious program was organized in Junagadh on 31 January. It is alleged that an Islamic preacher had allegedly given an inflammatory speech there.

Mufti salman Azhari, Mohammed Yusuf Malek and Azim Habib Odedra were produced in the court at 4 pm after their one-day police remand ended and they were sent to judicial custody. His lawyers filed a petition for his regular bail. The court granted bail while hearing the petition.

Let us inform that on Tuesday, the police in gujarat had registered another FIR against Mumbai's Maulana Mufti salman Azhari for allegedly giving an inflammatory speech at a religious program in Samakhiyari of kutch district. This is the second FIR against Azhari. Earlier, in the FIR registered in Junagadh on saturday in the hate speech case, Azhari was arrested from mumbai on sunday and a team of gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) brought him to Ahmedabad.

Azhari was taken to Junagadh from Ahmedabad. kutch (East) Superintendent of police Sagar Baghmar had said, “An FIR has been registered against Mufti salman Azhari for giving an inflammatory speech at a religious function organized in Samakhiyari on january 31. police permission was given for the event, but the content of the speech was similar to the Junagadh event which was (organized) on the same day.
