The new law in tamil Nadu; students were shocked!!!

It has come as a shock to the students that the Speaker of the Assembly, Appavu, has said that a law has been introduced in tamil Nadu that allows students to write other exams only if they get 40 marks in tamil to qualify for state government jobs. A government order describing the changes for state competitive exams was declared on friday evening.

All the applicants writing Group IV and other tamil Nadu Public service Commission (TNPSC) must write and also qualify in tamil paper – which will be of class 10 level – with at least 40 marks out of a total of 150. 

“Also, it is important to note that if the candidate does not clear the tamil language paper, answer sheets of other subjects will not be evaluated”.


Tirunelveli district Employment and Vocational Center, Rural and Urban Livelihood Movement organized a grand employment camp at Nellai Palayamkottai Johns College. The camp was attended by 85 leading companies. The placement camp was started by the Speaker of the Legislature, Appavu, and he visited the interview halls. Following this, the Speaker addressed a function at the Placement Camp to issue orders to the selected candidates:

The chief minister has said that employment will be provided to 10 lakh people in tamil Nadu every year and is working on it. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) worth Rs 31,000 crore has been signed at the business Investors Conference in Coimbatore. The plan is to provide employment to another 80,000 people. The chief minister of tamil Nadu has been working day and night to refine every government department.

As a result, the activities of the state are beginning to benefit the people. Thousands of students attended today's employment camp. It is likely to provide employment to over 2000 thousand people. Following this, Appavu issued work orders to those selected at the camp.
