Minister Sekar Babu has promised that tamil Nadu will soon have a Rope car facility installed on five major temples and he never revealed which temples are on the list to get this Rope car privilege. minister Sekar Babu who met the press people said, "We are trying to revamp several temples across the state of tamil Nadu and we are taking several steps to do it.


We already decided to privatize few temples in Tiruchendur, Soligar, Marudamalai and soon we will keep a tender for that and will make formal announcements regarding the same. Just for the sake of elderly people, we have decided to install a Lift facility in Maruthamalai temple and already the works have begun for that. 


Under the last ADMK's Government, only 47 temples were given priority and now under DMK's regime we have found 539 temples and we are trying to revamp every one of them. The important temples located in Tiruthani, Solingar, Thirukalukundram, Trichy, Trichengode will soon feature Rope car facilities and we are already discussing implementing the same. We also found that 2000 Kilograms of gold is unused in several temples and all of them were donated by people. So we are planning to use them for the revamp of temple purposes itself."
