The movie received favourable reviews when it first came out, and viewers also praised the plot and acting. JugJugg Jeeyo, which was directed by raj Mehta, was presented in theatres on june 24. Tushar Joshi, a critic for india Today, gave JugJugg Jeeyo 3.5 stars. "JugJugg Jeeyo's major strength resides in the fact that it is able to showcase the strength of its complete star ensemble in the best way possible," he stated in his review.
Additionally, he thought the movie was "a little bit too long and has nothing fresh to offer when it comes to presenting the joyful aspect of a punjabi wedding." Some of the scenes were filmed in a way that they would fit into an ekta kapoor soap opera. The movie features conversation and loud background music that are louder than usual.
