19,095 workers in the Palnadu district are using postal ballots to cast their votes. On May 5, several officials, including POs, APOs, OPOs, and micro observers, exercised their right to vote. On May 5, however, a troubling situation occurred during the Chilakaluripet constituency's postal vote polling. 1219 workers' votes were impacted by a misunderstanding caused by an error made by authorities.
 
Ganapavaram ZP High school in Nadendla Mandal served as the voting site. It was found that these personnel were unintentionally casting normal votes intended for EVMs instead of postal ballots. Regretfully, it wasn't until the voting was over that the error was discovered. The Collector, who thereafter forwarded the information to Chief Electoral Officer mukesh Kumar Meena, received the complaint from the appropriate officials as soon as possible. This accident spurred interested parties to take fast action.
